Simply beautiful...Kate Rusby is, without a doubt, the finest vocalist walking the planet. Not one bad note on this album. She is totally underrated and deserves world-wide fame. But for now, she can be our little secret. Listen to this album at your own risk. She will break your heart with her angelic voice. Amazing. Period.
Best Impulse Buy Ever!I randomly picked this up while in a little shop in Scotland and purchased it after the woman in the store told me how good it was. It was the BEST IMPULSE BUY EVER! I love every song and am now an avid Kate Rusby fan! I would highly recommend any of her albums as she is extremely talented!

I just love this girls voice and this CD is another mix of traditional and modern folk with her own twist.
Charming and sweetThis is the only Kate Rusby album I have. I'm not a big fan - just like her performances on the album. The settings are intimate and quiet here, the kind of music you'd hear in some pub in a coastal town in the UK. With some influences from sea shanties and English folk, you get the feeling of a modern Jane Austen who sings with a guitar, rather than writes novels. Sweet.
Rusby's Little LightsMy wife and I first heard a song off this CD on NPR, I think it was the back porch show. Immediately, my wife fell in love, and I admit I too was a bit intrigued by Rusby's folky, almost Irish sound. So, I purchased the CD as a christmas present for my wife and neither of us were dissapointed; the rest of the songs were just as enjoyable as the few we heard on NPR.
